Recommended Treatment Schedule

The initial phase (first 4 - 5 weeks)

One treatment is equivalent to one flash, so 4 - 5 treatments is equivalent to 4 - 5 weeks one flash on each treated area every week. For the first 4 to 5 treatments, we advise you to use Wetty once every week to ensure that all hairs are treated.

Important: Replacing one of the IPL treatments with another hair removal method (waxing, epilating, etc) will not help to reach the desired permanent hair reduction. This treatment needs both patience and consistency for the best results.

We recommend treating your skin with Wetty/WettyPRO once every week for the first two months. Using Wetty more often than biweekly may cause skin irritation.

How often should I use my Wetty?

We recommend using Wetty devices once every week for the first two months and to always check the intensity and if there is any irritation. If irritation occurs increase the time between treatments.

Do I need to keep using Wetty once my skin is hair-free?

To maintain hair-free skin, we recommend repeating the Wetty treatment every four to eight weeks. This will keep your hair roots inactive and prevent hair from growing back. If your hair grows back more often, reduce the time of treatments to three weeks and observe the results.

Will I see quicker results if I use Wetty more often?

No, using your Wetty more often than recommended will not speed up the hair removal process. Do not treat the same area multiple times in one session as this will not improve efficacy and can cause skin irritation. Remember shaving is a necessity for the best results. If hair grows back after the first or second treatment, shave the area again.

Touch-up phase (After 4 - 5 treatments)

After the initial treatment phase (4-5 treatments), we recommend touch-ups every 4 weeks, when you see hair growing back. This is to maintain results and enjoy smooth skin for months. The time between treatments may vary based on your individual hair regrowth and also across different body areas.

Tip: Write a treatment schedule on your agenda to remind yourself of the treatments so you will not forget. Consistency is important.
Note: Using the device more often does not enhance effectiveness.
